Carabuena Tequila

Carabuena is a tequila brand, artisanally made from fully grown agaves, harvested, cooked, distilled, and bottled in the heart of the Tequila Valley in Jalisco, Mexico. Brought to life by Victor Díaz, born and raised in Jalisco, Carabuena honors creators artists of all kinds, paying homage to Mexican culture through tequila — Made by Creators, For Creators.

Inspired by the mystical Nahual, a spirit animal in Mexican tradition that symbolizes the inherent duality of the human being: our human form and our connection to an “alter ego” animal or spirit. This duality represents the capacity to transform, and the connection between the physical and the spiritual, based in the Mesoamerican cosmology. Carabuena is that spirit, our Nahual, inspiring transformation and inviting us to Live Our Best Side.

For Carabuena, we rebranded the wordmark and refreshed all brand elements to elevate Carabuena’s voice, giving it a unique personality marked by simplicity, designed to carve out a distinctive presence in the crowded U.S. market.

THE BRAND ELEMENTS

We redefined Blanco label with off-white and black tonalities, giving Reposado an agave-inspired palette, and Añejo a rich caramel color—a bold and distinctive direction in the tequila world. Together, they form a trio of good vibes, offering notes to savor and share with friends.
