Little Prince

Little Prince

Identity, Collaterals
United States

Little Prince is a charming neighborhood bistro in the heart of Soho, New York City, that features non—classique French bistro selections like a signature French Onion Soup Burger with caramelized onions and gruyère.

Little Prince holds a frequently rotating wine & beer program, highlighting unique French and local beers and seasonal French cocktails. Dramatic floral arrangements accent the light-filled space, with floor-to-ceiling windows that look out on to bustling Prince Street. Caramel banquettes line the walls and the wooden bar is warmly lit by classic glove pendant lamps. Hand-painted ceramic floor tiles complete the bistro ambience.

When we were asked to redesign Little Prince identity, we were delighted to bring a little French finesse to the bistro. We designed a custom wordmark that depicts this spirit, followed by a set of collaterals including menu, business cards and labels for their cold brew drink. We were inspired by the classic Breton shirt with blue stripes, added a touch of red and paired it with some quirky wording set in a contemporary use of type.

Little Prince Bistro Non—Classique, cozy, adorable, fun.

Identity, Packaging
Mexico

Bright Yellow Creamery is on a mission to celebrate the simple pleasures of delicious ice cream, without compromising flavor with additives. Made in small-batch flavors and individually crafted using pure ingredients sourced from local farmers and producers. Inspired by pure flavors like vanilla, cocoa, strawberries, and even ginger.

When Steve Dorcelien, the founder of the brand, approached Menta, we felt instantly drawn by the project. Literally a treat to design for a brand of quality ice cream. A classic look & feel was created through a custom script, inspired by vintage street signs of Italy.

Bright Yellow Creamery, timeless simplicity with a modern take.

Manassé

Identity, Collaterals
Mexico

Manassé is a French-African pâtisserie and boulangerie, located in Guadalajara, México. When Manassé knocked on our door, we were instantly drawn to his story and happy to get involved.

We designed the identity by distilling the best of two worls: the minty facades that preserve the charm of time in one of the most beautiful arrondissments in Paris, Le Marais, and paired that spirit with traditional textile patterns from Benin, the owner’s home country.

Manassé, classic pâtisserie with an African twist.

Ana Fuente

Ana Fuente

2015
Identity, Collaterals
Mexico

Ana Fuente is a Spanish headpiece artist, with a taste for Art Deco lines, blooming florals, delicate patterns and all things boho. Each piece is designed sketch-to-final, deeply inspired by classic beauty from the 1920s and 1930s.

Her sophisticated halos, headbands, clips and combs make a unique accessory for romantic brides. Antique golds, Rosés, Vintage silvers… color palettes that are treasure-forever pieces.

We were instantly in love with the idea of collaborating with Ana Fuente. Simple typography and complementary fine line illustrations gave the identity warmth and a sense of treasure found.

Ana Fuente, a one-of-a-kind artist that celebrates love stories with a new femininity.
