Identity, Collaterals
Mexico

Oriana Rodríguez is a Mexican designer that combines traditional leather craftwork, with some touches of Wixárika artisanal embroidery and a French savoir-faire. Her creations use geometry and bold designs, to dress up or dress down, as the day unwinds. A signature piece for any look.

The bespoke letterforms reflect the brand’s thoughtful attention to detail and timeless simplicity. We created a monogram that highlights craftsmanship and quality. A typographic combination of sans serif fonts balances old-world sensibilities with a modern take. The color palette is minimal, so products can shine through and be relevant. The use of materials such as a beeswax seal on the envelope, cotton paper, and blind embossing, create a tactile stationery that elevates the shopping experience.

Filamento

Filamento

2016
Identity, Collaterals
Mexico

Filamento is an independent workshop of luminaries, handcrafted in Mexico with traditional techniques and materials such as copper, mud, and wood. Founded by Sofía & Enrique, Filamento creates beautiful lighting designs with an eye on simplicity for the modern home, paying great attention to detail.

Menta was comissioned to create a new identity and collaterals that should feel artisan and elevated. The unique workmark was made from several ink excercises, until the correct one was achieved. A neutral typeface was selected to balance both worlds, the beautiful unexpected details of handcraft, and the perfection of a product that has been meticulously produced.

Filamento, it’s all about lighting and artisan craft.

Carmin y Celeste

Identity, Collaterals
Mexico

Carmín y Celeste is an image consultant studio based in Guadalajara, Mexico. Led by Karen Gresati, a savvy personal stylist, Carmín y Celeste guides people to create a remarkable impression of themselves and feel confident, by learning their most favorable colour palettes, hair & wardrobe styles.

Our naming proposal embraces the idea of two colours, a warm one — Carmín, and a cold one — Celeste, to represent in a metaphoric way, how temperature could be balanced in a person to enhance their true self.

Menta developed a sophisticated logotype and stationery in black & white with a touch of silver foil, to reflect the brand’s attributes of elegance and purity.

Carmín y Celeste. Embrace individuality, beautifully.

Identity, Collaterals
Mexico

Pragma is an architecture studio based in Guadalajara, Mexico. The challenge was to help Juan Antonio, to find the tone and space in his guild, that would capture his already prolofic career as architect. Simple processes, harmonious solutions.

The core of his work focuses in pure, raw materials, as well as clean geometric lines. The challenge was to communicate these values in a new brand name and stationery set. The result is a design that prefers simplicity.

Pragma. The beauty of function that is timeless.

Manassé

Manassé

Identity, Collaterals
Mexico

Manassé is a French-African pâtisserie and boulangerie, located in Guadalajara, México. When Manassé knocked on our door, we were instantly drawn to his story and happy to get involved.

We designed the identity by distilling the best of two worls: the minty facades that preserve the charm of time in one of the most beautiful arrondissments in Paris, Le Marais, and paired that spirit with traditional textile patterns from Benin, the owner’s home country.

Manassé, classic pâtisserie with an African twist.
